What's The Buzz????

We keep plugging along. As of this moment we have shoot the first 10 pages of the script for promotional purposes, written several original songs, started a 6 page ashcan comic of Dex and his pals' adventures, and filmed a couple Dexiverse tales. Next stop a recording studio where we will record the original music with a live orchestra. Tommorow morning Ira Kortum will don the Fritz makeup for the first time. I will be filming a behind the scenes video as they film Dexiverse Tale 2. More to come.

Wow it's been a while eh? What's new with our favorite Dick? Planning continues as we solidify our budget needs. A new series ov videos will soon begin to appear on our site...these will be known as "The Dexiverse Tales" Volumes 1 through 3 have been written and a couple of guest directors are going to make them happen. Chris Wilson ("James Vs Reality") and Shawn Wight ("One Two Punch") will direct Vol 2 and 3 while creator Steve Coker ("Crackin' The Code") will direct Vol 1. In addition to the video support, original songs have been written as well. KJ McElrath, a very talented composer has been working with Coker to create some stunning songs for our hero and the rest of the cast. Though "Dex Dixon: Paranormal Dick" isn't strictly a musical, a few well placed songs seemed appropriate. And that isn't to say that a full scale musical version won't be created...if I know Mr. Coker, I am sure he has plans up his sleeves...

Dex Dixon still in a bit of limbo as we continue to plan for the shoot. As it stands now we are looking at a 2011 release. We still have some test shooting to do, make-up tests, music to write, etc. Casting is almost finished, as most of the major roles have been filled. Today we were able to secure the rights to an amazing song "I Scare Myself" by Dan Hicks. You may also know it as a cover by Thomas Dolby ( Play Song ). It really is a great song to add to our story. Delila, Dex's love interest will be singing this gem in an early episode. We are very excited to share this song with anyone who has never heard it.
